Adrián Alvarado has had a lifelong love for all things creative.
I have been producing and editing video content since I was a young boy, telling stories in any way I could. My work has been influenced by my country of origin, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico, where I grew up.
Initially starting off with a standard Sony handheld to make home videos and take photos, over time I have been able to direct, produce, edit, and act in a variety of projects while learning to use emerging video production technology. Ranging from hard-hitting documentary film work to personal creative projects, I have years of experience in videography of varying tones, styles, and languages. One such example is “Owls Among US: Ray”, a short film about a Parkland school shooting survivor, Ray Corniel, produced and edited under the mentorship of Award-winning Independent Director Adam James Smith. I also have had the pleasure to make a short film interview with the much beloved Father Rafael Capo.
Through the years, I have worked with the Adobe Creative Suite, using Adobe Premiere and After Effects, many different cameras, microphones, audio equipment, drones, and GoPros to make creative and engaging projects. Alongside this, I have continued to grow as a photographer and studio artist, uploading my photography work to my Instagram page while producing videos for YouTube independently.
On my Channel, Borichamo, I post independently made History Videos.
